Personality:

Blair is a very quirky and kind of airy person. She often seem like shes not paying attention, and is prone to spacing out a lot. She tends to make a lot of offhanded and sarcastic comments when spacing out, but once she realize what she said she will profusely apologize for being rude. Although Blair is very casual and inattentive usually she is also very alert and cautious of their surroundings, even when they are seemingly not. She also has a tendency to be very dramatic about things, and often acts out like shes in a play, giving really clearly exaggerated emotional responses. She is also one to question everything, often in a very blunt way; if she wants to know what someone is doing, or how they’re doing it, they will ask without regard to who they are asking or what it is shes asking about. This behavior has led to countless injuries in the past. Above all else though, she is a very determined and hardworking person that can adapt to any environment or group shes in with relative ease.

- Devil Fruit: Chi-Chi No Mi (Blood-Blood Fruit)

Her devil fruit is a paramecia type that allows her to control blood. Currently, she can only control blood that is outside the body already. She uses a variety of bladed weapons on enemies, and occasionally herself to draw blood to use. Usually she will create tendrils of blood that can pierce enemies and move about fluidly, but she also known to make various weapons and animal silhouettes out of the blood. She is hoping to expand on their powers more, for offensive, defensive, and medical matters.

- Haki: Kenbunshoku Haki/Observation Haki

Still trying to learn how to use it properly; can only sense people’s presences at this point, but is slowly learning more about it and improving.

History:

    Born into a marine family on the Grand Line, Blair was raised by very strict people that tried to teach her how to fight in the name of justice. As she grew up, she realized this wasn’t the path she wanted to take. She didn’t like how strict and boring the marines were, and decided to sneak away from home on a passing ship at the age of 13. On the ship she discovered a large collection of books, which she spent most of her time as a stowaway going through. One book which particularly interested her was a catalog of devil fruits, which she studied feverously until she was discovered on the ship. Soon the ship returned her to her home, but with new knowledge and interest in a variety of things, mainly the strange fruits in that one book.

    Years later, at the age of 18, Blair left home with the excuse of going to train to become a marine. Her real intent however, was to find a devil fruit for herself. She didn’t really know what kind of fruit she was after, but she was ready for the adventure of finding it. She hopped from ship to ship for a few years, going back and forth between marine, pirate, and merchant vessels while trying to learn more about the fruits. Finally, at 22, she found a fruit hidden in a chest on one of the ships. She waited until the crew landed and immediately made off with the fruit, running to the nearest forest to hide from the inevitably enraged men.

    For another two years Blair stayed on that island to figure out and train with her new powers. There was a constant stream of pirates that arrived at the island, searching for some treasure or food, which gave Blair the perfect chance to hone her fruit abilities. Being alone on the island for so long, she gained an affinity for the stars and reading all the various books she was able to steal from ships. Naturally, she tried to collect as many books as she could, no matter what the subject. Newspapers, journals, novels, research notes, Blair collected and read everything she could. Her affinity for stars only grew once she found a few books on astrology. Soon though, her interest switched to medicine. She wanted to know more about it, as she thought her ability would be great for that field.

    Luckily for her, the submarine of the Heart Pirates visited the island not long after her interest in medicine took off. Blair had also been studying some of the more notorious pirates of the time through the newspapers and claims she gathered from the mass amount of pirates that came to the island. Knowing of Law and his skills, Blair took the chance to try and speak with him. After a very brief fight, some gentle persuasion, and an explanation of her interests in medicine, she was able to join the crew to learn and clean the submarine.

- Minor congenital analgesia/congenital insensitivity to pain

- Very intuitive, often decides if she likes people within seconds of meeting them

- She makes sure to keep herself very informed about current events, and all notable people of the time

- Dissociates often and gets really anxious and often frightened when people talk to her while she dissociates

- Refuses to wear the full jumpsuit because it’s not cute and it limits her abilities
